Within its remit, the Innovation and New Technologies Committee deals with the matters concerning innovation, informatisation, and information society development. The Committee deals not only with legislative issues, resulting from the scope of its tasks, and being of importance for the development of the economy and the society, such as initiatives involving technology transfer in different areas and related to broadband internet access or popularising contemporary technologies, but also with the issues of promoting good practices.
