Within its remit, the Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Committee deals with the issues related to organisation and functioning of local self-government structure, local self-government finance, municipal management, municipal property management, spatial planning and development, local self-government employees, activities of regional accounting chambers, regional policy of the State, development of regions and local communities, as well as the use of the EU funds by local self-government units.
